چکیده
Dentigerous cysts constitute 20% of all odontogenic and are often located in the mandible maxilla. They seen at young ages men. Patients usually asymptomatic, diagnosis is established by dental radiographs routine scans. Surgery recommended for dentigerous because ameloblastoma, intraosseous mucoepidermoid carcinoma, or squamous cell carcinoma may develop from them. Generally transoral route preferred over endoscopic In addition to question transnasal versus oral approach cysts, another controversy removal marsupialization entire cyst. our 10-year-old male patient, a cyst that completely filled right maxillary sinus eroded lateral anterior wall was treated with surgery. The 3 permanent teeth were removed endoscopically. No post-operative complications observed. patient’s age location size play an important role choice treatment. Endoscopic endonasal resection of a giant middle fossa epidermoid cyst
Intracranial epidermoid cysts are rare. We report a case of a 55-year-old man who presented with trigeminal neuralgia and was found, on imaging, to have an epidermoid cyst located in the right middle fossa. He was managed via an entirely endoscopic endonasal approach. Postoperative magnetic resonance imaging confirmed complete removal of the mass, and the patient continued to have complete reso...
متن کاملEndoscopic Endonasal Approach to Mesencephalic Cavernous Malformations.
BACKGROUND Symptomatic cavernous malformations involving the brainstem are difficult to access by conventional approaches, which often require dramatic brain retraction to gain adequate operative corridor. Here, we present a successful endoscopic endonasal transclival approach for resection of a hemorrhagic, symptomatic mesencephalic cavernous malformation. CASE DESCRIPTION A 20-year-old woma...
متن کاملDentigerous Cyst: A Case Report
The lining of an odontogenic cyst may show potential for neoplastic transformation to non odontogenic malignancies like squamous cell carcinoma and mucoepidermoid carcinoma and also odontogenic tumors like ameloblastoma and adenoamatoid odontogenic tumor (AOT). Unicystic ameloblastoma is a single cystic cavity lesion which shows ameloblastomatous differentiation in the lining. The clinical and ...
متن کاملBilateral Endoscopic Endonasal Marsupialization of Nasopalatine Duct Cyst
Nasopalatine duct cysts are the most common non-odontogenic cysts in the maxilla, and are conventionally treated through a sublabial or palatine approach. Recently, the endoscopic approach has been used, but experience is extremely limited. We treated a 29-year-old male with nasopalatine duct cyst by endoscopic marsupialization, but paresthesia of the incisor region occurred after surgery. This...
متن کاملEndoscopic Endonasal Transsphenoidal Approach for Pituitary Adenomas: a Prospective Review of Our Early Experience
Background & Aim: Pituitary adenomas are a part of a dissimilar group of benign neoplasms. The development of endoscopic techniques for surgery of paranasal sinuses has increased the opportunity for an endoscopic approach with regard to the pituitary gland. Minimally invasive endoscopic pituitary surgery, in turn, permits a more thorough tumor resection and fewer associated surgical complicatio...
